Two Poems by Jaden Stafford
Dark Cloud
By Jaden Stafford
How selfish, dark cloud…
to be grieved by the flowers you left.
Found withered and frail,
because you stayed away far too long.
No amount of rain can supply tears of
salted love in hopes to restore this
garden’s dependency on you.
The sun was never meant to bear this
burden alone but death comes when love
is overdue.

Untitled
By Jaden Stafford
Feeling alone is real,
being alone is not.
Everyone looks up at the same sky;
we’re all wrapped in the same blanket of stars.
Take comfort in knowing that
somewhere someone is looking
at the same moon.
